Suomi Hloubětín is a residential project by a Finnish developer on Prague’s transforming periphery. Its marketing campaign is built on ‘Finnish style’—minimalist, ecological, and universally tasteful. It is exotic enough to work where the myth of the West has failed, yet familiar enough to be admired with trust. The Nordic thriller Sauna humorously appropriates this aesthetic, revealing the political potential of visualizations in contemporary architecture.
